Hugo (Turn of the Century, Paris, Robot, Mystery, Clockmaker, Orphan, Adaptation)
PLOT: Directed by Martin Scorcese, Hugo stars Asa Butterfield as Hugo Cabret, an orphan who lives in the walls of a Paris train station at the turn of the 20th century. His recently deceased father (Jude Law), a clockmaker, had been employed at a museum. It was there that he showed Hugo a large robot full of intricate and complex inner workings. With the help of a studios girl, a stolen key, a beloved notebook, a puzzling drawing and an undiscovered message from his late father, will Hugo be able to unravel the mystery surrounding the broken machine? The Hugo movie adaptation also stars Chloe Moretz, Christopher Lee and Sacha Baron Cohen. BOOK TITLE: The Invention of Hugo Cabret AUTHOR: Brian Selznick
